Multi-Strike and Multi-Strike 16

What is Multi-Strike Video Poker:

Multi-Strike Video Poker is a sequential four-line game (and Multi-Strike 16 - MS16 - a five line game) where one pays to play all lines but can progress from one to the next only if they draw to a winning hand or are given a random Free Ride to the next line. After the draw of any hand, any winnings are paid a multiple of the normal payout depending on the level. The first level pays 1x the normal payout; level 2 pays 2x; level 3 pays 4x and level 4 pays 8x. In Multi-Strike 16, level 5 pays 16x.  At the start of play, one places a max bet which is 20 times the selected coin denomination (and 25 for MS16).

After placing the bet, 5 cards are randomly dealt from a standard deck of cards for the game (e.g., Joker Poker games would have 53 cards). The player then decides which cards to hold and to discard. Discarded cards are replaced by random draws from the remaining deck. If there is a winning outcome (or if a Free Ride card had momentarily been shown) the player proceeds to the next line after being paid for the win. Otherwise, the hand of play is over and the player must place a new bet or leave.

Once a game type (like Jacks or Better or Deuces Wild, etc.) and pay table are selected, there are three different modes of usage:

Perfect Hold Advice - In the ADVICE mode, one inputs the five cards constituting a hand of interest, the game Level and whether a Free Ride is in effect and is then told the optimal cards to hold.

Scored Practice - In the PRACTICE mode, random hands, levels and Free Rides are displayed and the user selects hold cards.  This hold is then scored (correct hold or not) and a tally accumulated until you reset the tallies to zero.

Play and Learn - The GAME mode presents a setting reminiscent of a video poker machine.  When you press Deal you are dealt random hands for level 1.  If a randomly determined Free Ride is in effect, that is indicated too. After selecting hold cards and pressing the Draw button, your hold hand is filled-in with random cards from the remaining deck.  The perfect hold hand receives the same draw cards.  The amount won by your holds and the perfect play holds are shown and accumulated into win/loss (W/L) totals.  The appropriate multiplier is applied to any wins.  If one wins a hand or has a Free Ride, the level is increased and the associated multiplier displayed.

History - each hand, regardless of mode, is saved for later review.

Trip Recorder - this feature is used to record data associated with video poker gambling trips or activity.

Each Perfect Play is explained in detail if desired.  Extensive help screens are provided as are information buttons throughout the screens.

Other Features:

Three different methods are built-in for selecting cards for analysis.  One is a table of all the cards, a second shows bigger cards for just a selected suit and the third is by typing an abbreviation like 3D for a 3 of Diamonds.
Sometimes the display is too small for a full deck to fit on a smart phone screen so having three ways to select cards is valuable.

A Tour Feature on most screens gives step-by-step descriptions of items on the screen.

Small information icons are located though-out the app screens for quick popup help.

For each game there is a default pay table set that you can override with a new default.

When there is more than one way to play a hand optimally, you are notified and can click to see the alternative play.
